Certain elements on the Twitter profiles of picks 2, 3, and 4 have to make you laugh, right?

    Hope they crushed the draft!!

We'll see if this draft can approach the 1984 Houston Oiler draft

All we can do is wait and see. On paper I like the Ravens draft better than ours as I think Hamilton and Linderbaum are future All Pros. But if Stingley and Green live up to their potential and a couple of the other guys like Metchie, Petrie or Harris are solid then it’s a huge win and lays the foundation for a playoff team soon.

They need to play a down of the foosball first.
Ted Thompson laid it out there that one superstar, one perennial pro bowler and another player that makes the pro bowl every now and then coupled with a few contributors is a transcendent draft.

Texans drafted some that can fill and surpass that quota. Will there be a twist as not all of them will pan out?
But before any kind of training camp begins:

    Sting Island is the superstar

Green can be the perennial pro bowler

If a guard is a perennial probowler it means the offense and the running game is excelling

so Pierce would get a pro bowl nod or two before he ages and turns an ancient 26.

Metchie will be around 500 - 600 yards for a couple of seasons until he is the no.1 or no.2

    That leaves Pitre and Harris.
We just saw the Chiefs give top safety money to Reid, who I think will shine in KC but he never sniffed a probowl here.
Pitre can do what Reid did here. More since Reid played hurt a lot and it affected his play.

Harris. Just like you need a Tillman to play Lovie's defense, you also need a holy phenom at LB. I had Lloyd and Dean being those holy phenom LBs for this system but Lovie loves this guy. He sees a great fit.
    ----------------------------------
For comparison let's use the 2006 Texans draft that is still talked about today:

Mario Williams was a street racing star getting DPOy votes. Buffalo paid him like a mega superstar at the time. He even made an all pro team for them.

Owen "Daniel" - 2x Probowler and the SB doesn't happen if not for some of his catches.

Demeco Ryans- A stud Def ROY headed for the hof until the Turf Monster gave him the Dekembe finger wag.

Eric Winston- Underappreciated. He never made a pro bowl but once he left things started to crack with the right side of the line.

Charles Spencer- What could have been. A generational Tackle . Thanks a lot, Ronnie Dayne.

David Anderson- Best TD celebrator and trail blazer.

TLDR: Yeah, It has a great chance to be a generational draft. With that chance alone it's an A+++ draft. There was so much talent in this draft that I like what a lot of teams did or maybe it's that for the past 2 years I watched more college football than ever.

this draft looks great in paper, but we have to wait to see how its plays out during the season, I think Caserio did a great job, and im optimistic about the future of the franchise (maybe not in 2022, in 2 years) we will get better.

People were certainly ready to treat him like garbage when he had not even had a chance to prove himself yet. That you too?

its great to be optimistic. but its more important to be realistic

think we drafted some solid potential. hard to say if anyone is a cornerstone player yet. but definitely upgrades on paper

Bill O’Brien effect. Anyone is a better GM than that clown.

That being said, Caserio seems to know what he is doing. The draft picks from last year look promising and I like this draft.

There are people that are just going to clown and swing at low-hanging fruit bc it’s their nature. It’s lazy and easy to do.

Texans just have to focus on getting better, and we did that over the weekend. Even if this team surprised and made the playoffs people like that would say things like “well they suck”, “not even a super bowl contender, stupid nick” and a bunch of garbage like that.
