Looks like the Bengals traded up.
Wonder who they needed to get in front of and for which player.
    (no edge please!)

    Jobe or Enagbare.

I think Jobe has a good career.

....that's what you are doing though.

Good RB's being taken high in the draft are the exception these days. The more common route is becoming the RB by committee.

Also, my point was that RB isn't a premium position, so why waste premium picks looking for premium players at a position that is not premium?

You'd probably draft premium kickers if you took them in the first round too....but why would you?

1 pick to go and both edges Amare Barno and Dominique Robinson are still available.
We'll have a chance to get at least 1 of them.

TE Teagan Quitoriano- Oregon State. Ranked 20th TE in the draft and 313th player over all. Ranked so low on the draft board I’m using that there wasn’t even a write-up :D

    Hmmm.
Haven't studied much about Teagan Quitoriano.
Lance's writeup at nfl.com didn't seem all that great but I'll trust "Nick the Ruler" and the staff.

Hope he doesn't have any "quit" in him.(other than his name of course)

Looks like a blocking TE, more protection for the young QB.

Yeah would have preferred an edge to have "less" protection on the opposing qb instead. lol

This late in the draft, you are just throwing darts at the wall hoping to accidentally hit something of value. Like a lot of good modern TE's, he is a former basketball player, so he probably has decent hands to go with his size.

If he ever manages to be something, great, but no one should expect it.

Yeah, I get that. I would have rather taken one of these project pass rushers

All of the BDN, In Nick We Trusters have forfeited pick-criticizing privileges. Were you one of them folks?

Texans have drastically improved their team with the 2022 draft picks. They’ve got some solid starters out of this, and fans will be happy.

Mills seems like he would have been a first round pick in this year’s draft. And he got wet behind his ears already last year.

So the rebuild is one year ahead of schedule. And if Mills proves to be pyrite, and regresses, well the Texans can search for their QB of the future in next year’s draft.

But many of us feel that Mills is legit, and can eventually be a pro bowl QB.
