In this instance? yea, i'll agree with that but random acts of violence is something we do very well here in the states. Fair to say that were not that far off from being "a pissant 3rd world country" if were talking violence. This might not be a country where we strip people naked and beat them up because of the sports team they support but it is one where you might be killed simply because of the color of your skin. Lets just hope for a good game free of any ugly situation
Yes, the USA has issues, but they pale in comparison to the drug cartels that run a good portion of Mexico. Mexico is a corrupt 3rd world country......... DD
Violence in soccer games has been something that happens all over the world, not just in Mexico. Also, this is the only major incident that I'm aware of. Hardly indicative of a ubiquitous problem. More like an isolated event. As far as the drug cartels, yeah that's a problem but plenty of US citizens moving south of the border so maybe not as dire for everyday life as you make out. Easy solution is just don't intend to attend any matches there and you are good.
DD is a black belt in 7 different martial arts. He just isn’t in the best shape he needs to start training for 2026 now!
I need all 7 of those belts just to get around twice and tie up in front. Hiiiiyaaaaaa mother ****ers ! DD
Surprised this hasn't been mention yet but NRG stadium has been chosen as one of the host stadiums for the U.S. They will host quarter final matches as well as the 3rd place game.
What's your source? Everything I've seen indicates that the final selections will be made in May. Did it leak early?
Seriously. I keep up with this stuff pretty well and have heard nothing about any stadiums being selected. If true, that's awesome(!) but it feels like dallas will get more prominent games for some reason.
HOUSTON NAMED AS A WORLD CUP SITE FOR 2026! WOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!! I didn't get to go to any games in 1994 and always regretted it. So glad we're getting some at home!
