Imagine trading a franchise qb for a guard…

Yup. But should’ve mentioned Jermaine Johnson as well.

I think we should only pick qbs and wideouts and have them play every position.

WTF? We lost out on Hamilton & Davis for a 4th round pick? Then even pass on J.Johnson for an interior lineman? Sorry I don’t get it!

I remember when we picked Watt at 11 the entire fanbase was pisssssed.

"HOW COULD YOU PASS ON FAIRLEY!!?"

Good thing they did. There's usually a reason why players fall or rise though, people will say "He would have been in there in 2nd round" but no one knows that, the Texans likely know the temperature of the room better and know how many teams were eying this guy.

All we can really do is hope they picked the right guy.

For all those saying Lance loved the pick, Lance also loved Xavier Su'a-Filo...

Guys, Green is a badass. He is a very good pick. Give him a chance. My guess is that he’ll play in the league for a decade or more.

He also loved loved the Xavier Sua filo pick. We saw a little resurgence in Filo once he left and probably could have had a different story ach if not drafted into the Patriots way switcharoo musical chairs o-line here. The good thing with this pick is that the switcharoo patriots way days are gone. Who is there to move around the line? the center?

I really like the guy. Just not at 15. Wish we could have traded back a couple spots and got him. If he fixes the OL he is worth it at 15

The fact that a second guard went two picks later to San Diego does ease some of the pain and concerns about the Green pick being a reach. If Linderbaum also goes soon, I think the Texans pick makes even more sense.
