So I dated this girl off and on for roughly 3 years eons ago. Like it was over in 2010. But she came back via FB in 2015 to reconnect as friends. I was cool with that as I'd still like to do her. We never reconnected much romantically but would still hung out roughly weekly for a year and a half. Then she started asking me about a couple of my college FB friends she thought were cute. I told her I thought that was not cool. About a month later I saw she had not only friended one, but was replying to him on FB where I could see it. She whined that I was making too much of it and she met him on a dating site. I knew that was bullshit because he lived in Dallas & dating sites don't match you with guys 200 miles away. And she initially contacted me via myspace, so this is apparently something she does. Anyhoo, that was the end of our friendship. She thought I shouldn't care about her contacting my friends... I know this sounds old, but I just had a good friend of mine, who we hung out with years ago, say they were talking online via some site. I'm appreciative he let me know, and if they hook up, it's up to them, but there is no way in hell this happened by accident. She even pretended she didn't know me when he brought me up, because, you know, we all hung out a decade earlier. There are 4 million people in Houston & my ex keeps coming around 10+ years later. So I called her out on it in a message. She, of course, acted like she had no idea what she even did, but again, this wasn't the first time I got that excuse. So ****ing weird that a girl a decade later is doing this. Am I overreacting? I don't think I am.

You're mad because she's taking two sources of your narcissistic supply from you: herself and your friends.
