A Master's degree from Brown University?

I once hired someone from there. Big mistake.

that's gotta be fake news or misinformation planted by Truth Social, because we can simply assume that Twitter employees are, well, you know, good people

@JayGoogle I'm not sure about this "Robert Reich" account. seems kind of satirish to me, judging from these two tweets. any guidance you could provide would be much appreciated

Locking down a product after something like this, where the incoming owner said he wants to make dramatic changes to how it works, would be pretty normal -- even minus a fear of employees "going rogue".

I'm just glad he didn't leverage a bunch of Tesla stocks to do so.

It'll be interesting to see what changes he brings but at the moment I'm not planning on signing up.

I just hate the way democracy is used right now. Most of the time, the words "liberal democracy" seem to mean "decisions made by other people who think like me" and sounds way more like technocratic oligarchy than any sort of democracy (these people will literally argue that you must listen to the "unelected experts" to protect "democracy".

I think he leveraged about 5% of his holdings, which isn't really much relatively speaking

This reminds me of the wealth tax topic, where I said if you don’t support a wealth tax/limit at some level, your ultimately okay with a dystopian future of a single world dictator

So we have any metrics that show how heavily Twitter is used? Musk tweeted recently about it dying, since some of the accounts with the most followers rarely tweet. Not sure that’s the best measure to go by, however.

Uh oh, here come the experts again:

It’s a good thing that Musk doesn’t pay any attention to “research” from “experts” with his companies.
