Why is it so difficult for some to comprehend what's happening...and be chill about it? Toss out the damn PG label...and the defensiveness.

We are privileged to have two guards in Jalen and Scoot... three actually, including Josh, who are interchangeable playmakers, that can score at every level. Along with that, we have Alperen where eventually a lot of offense will run through. The Rockets are putting together an extremely versatile machine that will be almost impossible to defend.

Stop trying to think of this in conventional terms. We've hit the jackpot right out of the shoot with these guys. Show a little patience, and I think many will be quite surprised.

The main concern is that players with issues never tend to stick around with the same team for very long. By your list: Horry didn't stay in Phoenix, Latrell didn't stay in Golden State, Artest didn't stay in Indiana, Maxwell didn't stay in Houston. Only Barkley stuck around more than a season.

Hopefully KPJ does turn a corner since there's next year and he's a RFA, but will be annoyed if he does finally mature and it happens to be with another team.

If we look at it like that.

How many wins with him as the number one option? 37 wins out of 164.

Wood should not be number 1 option, no one in their right mind disputes this.

But as 3rd option he helps the team win.

But Silas needs to dictate a hierarchy otherwise it gets messy.

The Rockets didn’t want to win this year. The question to me, is Silas capable of integrating Wood into a winning formula? I guess we will see, but I have real doubts about Silas’ ability.

KPJ had a life changing event, that's when he went the direction he was going to choose. So I don't forsee anything happening that will change him again. He's taking the hard road to wherever he's going. People mature, but real character change is rare. He going to be fighting his entire life and that's going to lead to trouble. It's a pattern at this point.
