I would hope that's not where ALL of the problems stem from because if it is we have a weak bunch. It is a business, they know that and lets not pretend that Alvarez and Tucker don't want to get paid. It was no different when Luhnow was here we just had control over the star core.
You mean the Astros jumped on top in the first inning with a HR and then never scored again and lost? When has that ever happened before????
Seems all these other teams were aggressive in the off season upgrading their bullpens and lineups and then the Astros sign Goodrum?
Yesterday, Dusty did the same thing except Castro for Chas McCormick is 50-50. Not pinch-hitting for Goodrum is 100% dumb. Last year contract, may not finish contract.
Goodrum gets down a bunt there and the game is tied most likely as he is probably not catching that if he wasn’t holding Tucker on. In the previous seasons, there was so much talent on the roster that it made up for how bad of a manager Dusty is…sadly don’t think this team has that capability with an aging Altuve, Yuli, Brantley and Maldy in the lineup.
Season over, friendos. Fold the franchise. Relocate it to Montreal. Frustrating loss, what are the chances badrum and Jeremy bump into each other, fall down, allowing time for a run to score. Then their 8th batter homers his 4th homer of his career 2nd game in a row? Freaky stuff. Oh and you can assemble a title team with all the talent they let go and of course they come back and do the thing.
