The Nets pick => Kendall Brown -> defense -> BPA for us at this tier -> would help out Green by covering the other team’s scoring wings. He helps Sengun, because he is a GREAT cutter that can also shoot. He doesn’t need the ball to make a difference on the court. He will never be an All Star but should solid starter for years. He is not a home run but a solid triple.
My ideal draft night: #1 - 7'0 Chet Holmgren (7'6 wingspan) #13 - 7'0 Mark Williams (7'7 wingspan) *Tate + #17 for #13 Trade: EGo + Nwaba + Bucks FRP for 6'9 Jalen Johnson (7'1 wingspan) + SRP Starters 1 - 6'5 KPJ 2 - 6'5 Thriller 3 - 6'9 JJohnson 4 - 7'0 Chet 5 - 7'0 MWilliams Bench 6'10 Sengun, 6'10 Wood, 6'3 Jaygup, 6'5 Mathews, 6'6 KJ, 6'4 Nix, 6'8 Garuba, 6'6 Queen, 6'4 Wall, vet
Chet #1, Edey #17 Sign Tako Fall and Bol Bol in off season Hire Yao as head coach KPJ and Green grow 8 inches 7'0 C-C-COMBOO ??? Profit.
Eating a Fat burger at 2 AM, catching the twinkling lights of the Goodyear blimp in the dark night sky.
1. Chet 2. Kendall Brown (unless the Brooklyn pick could be packaged with Wood, etc. to move up enough for Griffin)
I think you have to entertain trades for both picks, look at moving down if you secure 1st or 2nd, look to move up with the 17th. But if I had to commit to drafting, Chet or Jabari and Ousmane Dieng
Hot shower, shave, backrub and BJ in bed before 9. Then read about the draft in the morning with my breakfast in bed.
It’s not though. It’s #17 Wood, Tate Mil pick (likely 25ish) for a top 7 pick giving you 3 in two seasons plus Sengun/Christopher/Garuba. I don’t know if that is worth it or not but that’s how I look at it.
this is what I want too except I’d also first get high Then order some delicious Asian food The also trade CWood and maybe a future first for the Hornets pick and select that Dieng kid - even more length this time at SF the get high some more the slap some cheeks then bedtime ideal night!
Just because the second trade in the sequence may be good doesn't mean that the first trade in the sequence is worth it. Why not just offer everything to the team with the higher pick? If that team then wants to flip most (but not all) of those assets to get the #11 pick, so be it.
What is your opinion on attempting to roll over the Nets pick until next year? Having 3 picks and young players should deliver the capability to package together to a team with a top 5 pick. This would free up some time for the numerous young players already on the team. While giving you the firepower to get one more blue chip prospect no matter where the team ends up next year (very very likely a top 14 pick again)
Jabari & Tari(or Keegan & Eason) also a draft night deal involving one of our starters for future assets(a first and extras)
Plan A : Chet& Dieng Plan B: Jabari & Dieng or Daniels Plan C : Murray& Best rim protector available. No Banchero please.
