And this is why people who let their children play in the floodwater, like it is some sort of water park are just plain stupid: http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/topstory/2647127
The temperature is staying below 90, therefore I'm lovin' it. Oh, I also have a lift on my truck and 35" tires. I laugh at these puny little flooded streets.
Thats what I thought too ... I moved to San Diego about 2 years ago where we get about 3 days of rain a year and sometimes I really miss the downpours and I am really tired of the damn sun all the time. I certainly don't miss the flooding though. I hope everything works out ok for you guys and the floods don't affect you too much like Allison did a couple years ago. Man that was miserable.
off topic, but did you link the word "car" on purpose? the reason i ask is because in other message boards, I am seeing the word "car" hyperlinked, then when you click the link it leads to a search engine. either i am missing out on an inside joke, or is it a possible program that spams message boards? am i crazy?
But I only see that link in your quote of his quote, not his original post. Looks like it's your machine.
No. I used the word "car" because I own a car. Your PC has been infected with what are commonly known as "trailing cookies" that ruin bookmarks and divert you to search pages. Do a google search for SPYBOT....download it, install it, and run it. It's free. Spybot fixed this problem for me.
Yes it looks like it has died down here at Greenway Plaza. Hopefully a nice 3-4 hour respite will allow the bayous to drain off. This is bringing back bad Alison flashbacks.
If you look at the radar images, it looks like the storms are coming in waves from the West. The good thing about that is it gives us time to recover from each wave. Allison didn't give us any breaks to recover.
It's nice and sunny up here in CS. I am so glad I left the gloomy dark weather back in Houston yesterday. Ofcourse I will be back in a week or so then off to Colorado.
Man I'm jonesin for some golf. If it weren't for my T-Mac obsession I'd of gone all "Here's Johhny!" by now.
