    Dame is the worst defensive starting guard in the league by a wide margin… unless he magically starts trying to defend, the Blazers aren’t winning anything.

    Even Mike Bibby was a better defender in his heyday than what we see from Lillard the past 4-5 years.

    Portland hasn't really surrounded him with much talent throughout his tenure there. They dealt CJ for scraps. Props to Dame for sticking through this.

    So if someone stays with the same team and doesn’t take a paycut, it means they don’t want to win?

    KD stays with OKC, it’s because he doesn’t want to win?

    Lebron stays with CLE the first time, he doesn’t want to win?

    Sometimes players actually do love the city their in. Sometimes players don’t want to move their families across the country. And sometimes they don’t have to and still make a lot of money.

    Hey smart guy tell me how Lillard was supposed to take a pay cut to improve the team when he was already signed thru the 24-25 season even before the extension? That ‘bag’ you keep talking about…. it would’ve been available with any team in the league. It’s called a guaranteed contract. Learn about it.

    You tried to throw Dame under the bus while trying to crown your bum ass hero to make him look good for taking a pay cut cause he was actually in a position to do so.
