I saw it on one of the sports shows that they showed a clip of Larry brown on a Late night talk show or something and he commented about Darko.

He paused and said "Well my 10 year old son is more mature than Darko"

He went on to say some other stuff but i wasn't able to hear it because i was working.

Thats some major comments by the coach. I dont' know if people are taking it out of context but i couldn't hear what else he said so i can't really say.

But i believe it was PTI or the other show that they did a talk about it.

Kornheiser on PTI basically said because it was on David Letterman, the comments shouldn't be taken too literally. Everyone "tries" to be funny on Dave's show, and this was LB's lame attempt at humor. I agree; even if LB felt this way about Darko, it doesn't matter since Joe Dumars is high on Milicic.

    Trade for Darko immediately.

I can whip him into shape. Good God, men, make a f...ing effort. He's 7 f...ing feet tall.

Stick him with a badass trainer and coach and make something there.

He didn't injure himself. He was nailed on the hand by a hacking scrub on the Lakers.

Darko's gained like 25 pounds of muscle this year. He's got a trainer. He works out with Ben Wallace every day.

Larry couldn't say a positive thing about Chauncey Billups all year either. I think that worked out for Detroit.

watching the pre-draft show on espn jay bilas said that after seeing darko in practices in the later half of the season and playoffs that had he been in the draft this year there would have been no question as to who should be #1 darko would have been runaway the pick. That being said I dont think anyone of us can judge Darko without even seeing him play at all or even practice during the warmups of one of the playoff games i saw darko jump from one side of the rim under the baseline double clutch and tomahawk it from the other side. thats pretty impressive for anyone not named vince carter, t-mac or kobe and really impressive for a 7 footer. I think he will make a lot of people eat crow soon enough

besides we gave boki rave reviews without hardly seeing him play and keep saying he will be great given playing time, its the same thing with darko in detroit, problem is that they have a lot of talent in front of him and hence a good reason not to play him right away. give him some time before you all just bag on him
