We're exact opposites. Chet or Ivey would excite me but I'd just be okay with Jabari or Banchero. Banchero is the one I want the least. I am not a fan.

The Rockets don't have cap space to offer anything approaching max money

well one of us is right !

I’ve done some more reading on Paolo and I’m a bit less excited now . I thought he was Brazilian. Turns out he’s from Seattle .

    Offseason plan:

    1. Hire Mahmoud Abdelfattah (offense) and Brett Brown (defense) as assistants to Silas staff.

*Both are also excellent with player development.

    2. Draft 7'0 Chet/6'10 Jabari with Rockets FRP (trade up if necessary - Rockets FRP + future FRP + Tate/EGo).

    3. Trade Nets FRP + EGo (or Tate) for Hawk's 6'9 Jalen Johnson.

    4. Trade Christian Wood for Pacers 6'11 Myles Turner + SRP.

    6'5 KPJ
    6'5 Thriller
    6'9 JalenJ
    7'0 Chet
    6'11 Turner

Bench: Sengun, Jaygup, KJ, Mathews, Nix, Queen, vet, vet, vet

You don’t think turner is worth far more then wood? He’s way better and could be used on a good team, wood can’t play for a good team

Wood is 20/10 guy and provides the offense and rebounding that Pacers need. Plus they already have a young defensive big that can do what Turner does.

Wood diversifies their offense and is better rebounder and 3ball sniper than Turner.

Turner 3P% took another dip this season, so did his PPG, Box +/- and BLK%.

Isaiah Jackson on other hand is trending up.

I mean if they would be willing to take him, great. But I doubt it. Any smart team would just view him as salary filler since he’s going to ask for at least double his value (if not more)

I like Jalen Johnson, it would be nice if Stone could acquire him and luck out on Jabari or Chet. LTS will have the last laugh, the boat remains unpredictable in the choppy waters, unfortunately.

I like Myles, but I don't want him with his injury status. It would be better to acquire Jabari if we luck out. Wood can be a 6th man center/ power forward for a playoff team, but he wants to be a star.

Rox can do a sign and trade for him with EG or CWood 8f the Suns really dont want to keep Ayton they can prob use additional depth instead.

calm down jabari you can sign for cheap, hes waived on january the 7th

The Celtics have waived forward Jabari Parker
, the team announced Friday. Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium first reported the news. “Celtics maintain roster flexibility with an open roster spot ahead of roster guarantee date,” Charania wrote. “Parker showed scoring ability over the past season in Boston.”
In 22 total games with the Celtics across two seasons, the 26-year-old averaged 5.3 PPG and 2.9 RPG on... YADA YADA YADA

The problem with Banchero is on the defensive side... Chet and Jabari are good defenders. Chet i have concerns about given his frame. He's going to need to add a lot of weight and you just don't know how that will affect his game.

I would go Jabari / Chet / Ivey / Banchero.

I would strongly consider trading back or the pick for a star if Jabari is off the table.

They could get a 3/D wing for the sf spot in the back of the lottery and role their draft capital forward to future years...

I might be like those Mobley nut jobs this past season if Chet is on the board when we pick and we trade back to the “back of the lottery”:D

Depends if they have a good offer...

Let's say there's a scottie barnes type player who will be there at 8 and you can pick up 2 future ones to a team desperate for Chet?

I don't see Sengun as a long term 4. If Chet is playing with him then you're asking him to cover some stretch 4s in space which doesn't seem like his game.

So you're ultimately drafting a second center in that scenario with a top pick who may ultimately be the backup.

It's just riskier in my opinion. If the offer and player aren't there i take him without hesitation.

I don't think there's any way Chet backs up Sengun.

If it called for one of them to be traded I'd bank on it being Sengun.

But as far as a trade back we don't have to imagine hypothetical Scottie Barnes type players. We know the actual guys in the draft.

Which one of those guys that you're trading back for are you thinking is like Scottie Barnes?

Btw, not saying you're wrong or anything here hence the smileys in the last post. But I am curious what player near the back end of the lottery you'd be willing to pass on Chet, Paolo and Ivey for?

I think holmgren would be the 4 next to sengun at 5. Holmgren playing help defense would be niiiiice.
