Oh man, I would have liked to have seen his take on it. I am familiar with a few of the book's differences but definitely need to actually read it..., I'm hoping to get to that sooner than later. Thanks for the reminder! First Blood is another title I can re-watch, not as often as I do Die Hard but definitely a classic.
google just learned me this: https://screenrant.com/first-blood-rambo-quentin-tarantino-last-movie-reason/
Those are some Classics they just don't really make my top 5. John Wick is the only one that I would rewatch, and even that has seemed to putter out. None of those would make my personal top 5 but to each his own.
Not sure if you would call them pure action movies, but the Bourne series has few peers when it comes to consistent excellence. Bourne Series Die Hard Terminator (major drop in quality after 2) Dark Knight Trilogy Indiana Jones Aliens is just after Terminator 2 as my favorite action movie ever, but everything after it sucked and the OG was pure suspense, not action
Fast and Furious is absolutely on the list. They can be over the top but the practical car effects are also fantastic top of my list is probably Indiana Jones. Others I’d include are: Die Hard John Wick The Matrix Dark Knight Trilogy
I agree with you but you could argue that FF a brand with their spinoffs (they're not doing enough with it in my humble business opinion) rather than a franchise at this point, much like Star Wars and the MCU and to a lesser extent, James Bond.
Fair enough. and I agree with the bold. I think Hobbes and Shaw could do more. I assume a prequel is in the works with how many flashbacks were In the last movie
