Why does Kevin O’Clueless have a voice?

    “fasting isn’t difficult”

says the guy who looks like he hasn’t played a sport in his life…his idea of fasting is probably avoiding the local Burger King for a few days

They even have Big Wos on there?

lol, they let anyone on a Podcast these days

I don’t listen to the Bill Simmons podcast, and will continue not to

    this is how it starts

in the future, people will be excusing away why Jalen Green didn’t make the All-Star team, All-NBA, win POTW, POTM, etc

As I have said...the narrative is set.

NBA.com Rookie Ladder (Final Edition): 1. Evan Mobley; 2. Scottie Barnes; 3. Cade Cunningham

Honestly, the all rookie teams are such meaningless awards. I mean Tate was first team last year, what does it even matter

He's voting Cade and Franz Wagner to first team, despite those teams having 2 more wins than the Rockets. Are those "winning players"?

I don't care that Green won't be on first team, but it's hilarious that 1 year into his career he is already locked into the narrative that he's a stat chasing no win player.

I don't really care about these all-whatever teams. I'm fine with Green not on it. He did play poorly earlier. But Herb Jones over Green? That's extremely questionable to say the least.

Years ago, I used to like Simmons's takes. But as he gets more exposure, he seems to get increasingly smug and that turns me off.

He brought up the winning thing when it was in the context of Herb vs Green. He said Green will win, but it just hasn't happened yet.

I don't agree with Simmons and don't care about his opinion all that much, I'm just trying to provide some context.

Simmons getting way too much attention. Exactly how he wants it...

I would rather have Green eventually win Finals MVP than get a spot on the rookie 1st team like Willy Hernangomez in 2017.

    Quit whining.

The Ringer has always been fair to Houston, except for Simmons, who once wrote that he prays that no major sports event ever happens in Houston because the city is miserable.

    narratives already being set

“I’d rather have Jalen win FMVP”…better hope the Rockets don’t play a likable team or star in the playoffs and the game is close, because the refs will activate fckery mode in favor of the media darling

Meh, let them spew feces on the air and in texts.

It's only going to fuel JG. Also, even though for some reason media seems to hate the Rockets no matter who's playing (I've been a Rockets fan since 2004 and it's the same story all these years), they won't be able to keep their beaks in the sand for long when JG continues to fly on highlights and score like he has been doing the last few months.

I care how he performs when I watch him play, I couldn't care less about s**t that comes from the mouths of people who are paid to stir things up and hunt for clicks.

This is why I hate today's sports journalism. These so-called journalists just say some outrageous things to get attention. I know they are preying on sports fans' emotional attachment to teams and players. I'd say these are not journalists. They aren't even commentators or experts. They are just a different kind of entertainers similar to tabloid writers.
