Gobert would be more than happy to touch all of our microphones.

How about Wall and EGo for Westbrook, Nunn, and a vet min and 2027 and 2029 1sts. Then we turn around and wait out Westbrook with other potential trades to Charlotte, Indiana, or a more advantageous buyout. Westbrook wants to play for Clippers and not leave LA. We have a lot of leverage with now through the draft to get these things done. Westbrook cannot be packaged from our end but he can be traded immediately after we trade with Lakers.

I'm not crazy about Gobert but he solves our most immediate need so well we might be a middle playoff seed with a little development out of porter/green and a top rookie...

Wood, Gordon, and the brooklyn pick is fair value in my opinion...

Unless we demote either him or Sengun to the bench, that is going to clog the hell out of our paint.

Sengun can shoot a little as a stretch 4 depending on the matchup... I'm not suggesting Gobert is here for 10 years.

Gobert plays a few years to finish his contract and Sengun can learn under him...

Gobert makes us better than Wood because of our dramatic need for defense...

Exactly. You could have competed last year and got the 15th pick. Then the next year since the rockets were so competitive. You trade a few picks and players for the next young star that will be on the top 100 team in 25 years. Just like we drew up and got harden who then made the top 75 team. It’s easy to do there is not a finite amount of players out there to do that with, they drop out of the sky and right in the middle of the arena.

Side note you would not have Green if we did this either.

Man's acting like this nba 2k where u can trade huge ass contracts and a few picks to get young star.

Aside from how bad wall is, u have to match the salary and that sht is massive.

No one is trading their young star for John wall.

GTFO of my thread. You're a perfect example of what ails our forum these days.

Maybe once Sengun figures out a shooting motion from deep doesn’t begin with a pump fake, he can stretch the floor a bit. Until then, keep in mind that he is a sub-25% shooter.

Also, we have the Dream. Why do we need or want Sengun to learn under Gobert? We need Sengun to scale up both his stamina and PT, not waiting for Joakim Noah 2.0 to leave.

Now teams want KPJ?he was practically free. Give credit to Stone for finding a diamond in the rough and making him a asset. Morey would be proud. I’d do that too and draft Ivey

Word is Mitchell doesn’t really l vibe with Gobert like that. So he might be able To be had. Other wise they’re maxed out as roster. Wall and wood would give them some cap relief

Rudy Gobert is a hard pass. He's completely useless in this NBA and he makes way too much money for what he does. How does he win defensive player of the year when he's a liability on defense cuz he leaves shooters wide open. He's no different than signing Dwight or Javale McGee for the minimum.

$40 million a season for 4 years through his age 33 season would be a tough pill to swallow.

Nah, let our guys develop. There's a decent chance we'll have one or three that end being roughly equivalent to or better than Mitchell.

Because having better players around you can make you a better player. Think of the impact masking Green's defensive flaws while he develops...
