One thing that worries me about this quick announcement is if you check out the Jammar Nelson goes to Orlando thread, I posted an article from the Orlando Sentinal, that said Weisbrod was ecstatic that Jamaar was available so late in the draft, and that he thought Jamaar Nelson was the most NBA ready player in the draft and he could start right away. I am hoping that did not have nothing to do with their decision to trade Mcgrady tonight because if it did, I don't feel good about it.
I thought it was BS because ESPN didn't have it, we didn't know for sure here, and the Rockets site didn't have it either. Don't trust anything from Florida, they don't even know how to vote.
lol the magic called the paper and said omg take that down... im tired of all this i cant sleep now but yep like the other poster said family guy comes on soon
That's it. I can't sit around all night waiting on this. If it happens, someone drop me an email so it is the first thing I see in the morning.
Jeff, you can look in temp internet files in your windows dir and see you you can find the page there, unless when you checked back it got over written.
Wonder if all GMs have contracts with ESPN (first to break the story). Heh... Well, watching ESPN now. Keeping an eye on the lower ticker tape. <--Me needing sleep looking at TV
You know what is interesting. On the ESPN site (both on the main page and on the main NBA page) they paragraph under the picture for D. Howard taid how he wanted to play with TMac. It has been there since the first pick. It is gone now.
I updated the thread title to include "False Alarm" and unsticking the thread. To recap, I can confirm also that Florida Today did have up on their website that T-Mac has been traded and to check back shortly for details. We can keep checking, but given that they pulled the notice, something doesn't seem right. If that changes, the thread title will also change.
