Having an Agent Nothing New for Hakeem

    Let's dispel this myth right now. Hakeem was represented by Leonard Armato as recently as '95. He signed a new deal in '96. I don't know when he got rid of Armato.

    An article from the '95 Finals:

    "Despite the rivalry, Olajuwon and O'Neal maintain a mutual-admiration society that has almost nothing to do with the fact that they share the same agent (Leonard Armato)."

    This is not some new, evil Hakeem that has hired Fegan. This is a free agent who has hired an agent to negotiate his contract.

    probably didn't have one last few years because he wasn't negotiating a contract and probably didn't exactly have a lot of advertisers etc wanting him so what woudl he need an agent for lol

    Actually "evil" Hakeem having an agent isn't the problem, it's who he took as an agent that's the problem.
