With KM Sr, Swift and Miles as your top 3 and Jamal Crawford being one of the best from the draft I see this as potential. The only salvageable thing about this draft is Michael Redd being picked #43 and outscoring everyone else in the draft by 5 points per game (19 ppg for career). 2013 is close with the top being so-so but Giannis was picked #15 which gives it to 2000
Wrong forum? the only thing i can think related to the Rockets is KM Sr being father of a Rockets player
He was a key part of a team that got to the finals twice and a western conference finals team with Denver
i got it... and Rockets player KM jr. might be participated the draft night as a fetus... or fertilized egg
Is this a joke? That draft was solid, many of the guys had a long career...maybe the top 3 picks sucked, but in general it was a very good draft class
I’m just joking around. I don’t know nearly enough about this or any draft to make that type of proclamation.
I think OP's point is true. There were only 3 all stars - Redd, Martin, Magloire. Fringe all-stars really. 2013 is hard to shake though. Bennett at #1. Giannis and Gobert were Euro late bloomers that really save this draft. One of the top 5 players in the draft might very well be #2 Oladipo, and we got to see his work firsthand, as well as superstar #7 pick Ben McLemore, #11 Michael Carter-Williams, #13 Kelly Olynyk and now #17 Dennis Schroder. There is a direct correlation (credit to Tilman Fertitta) between the Rockets franchise floundering and the number of 2013 drafted players that have been on the roster.
