Duh. LinkedIn is the new Facebook! I get people trying to sell me insurance and real estate on there. lol. It's pretty much a clown show.
This person is trying to catfish me: https://www.linkedin.com/in/anna-lee-a44678236/ 'Let's go have coffee' Any fun suggestions to send 'her' on the messenger app?
lol... "Anna Lee" ... and I ain't clickin' that link. If I do, "she'll" probably get something asking "her" if she knows me and would like to connect with me. I don't know, man. I'd start with something like "is your neck real?"
I had a dentist connect with me. She was easy on the eyes so I accepted. Then she asked if I was interested in scheduling a cleaning.
I had several younger 20-30 something women from the Ukraine give my profile views at the start of the war.
‘Her’ profile was deleted. I tried to reverse fish but the person I was dealing with was too dumb. The first time ‘she’ asked me for coffee it was in Dutch. I asked ‘her’ what Raycom was and that was it.
I don't get it. All I ever see is "congrats on your x year anniversary!" which is obviously nothing. I do recall somebody I applied for a job saying to a collegue that recommended me "why doesn't he have a linkedin?" So I set it up and had 200+ people verifying me by end of day. I think the whole thing is stupid and of no value; at least not in my business which is all about recruiting... Here's the weird thing: Folks I used to work with? I still keep in touch with them without some dumbass website.
LinkedIn + Zoom info are great assets in sales. Use linkedin to identify buyer, get info on ZI, throw in sales cadence.
Ask her why she's working on a tablet instead of the MacBook... or the windows machine the Apple display is hooked up to (and why Apple monitor for a Windows machine?)... or whatever the six monitor display is hooked up to. This desk setup seems to range from least efficient being easiest to get to most efficient being out of the way.
I get a ton of people from NZ who look up my account or try to connect with me because I have the same name as some dude there that is a director of some sorts with the All Blacks Rugby team. So much of his stuff has been connected to my email address, as his has 1 letter different. (like his pay stubs, bank emails, hotel stays, race horse info (unjuries), stable fees, family photos, and info about concession increases and updates at the stadium etc.). I emailed him and contacted him on linked in to correct this many times and gave up, then suddenly one of his cohorts realized the mistake and asked me to delete the confidential email and he told him about it....then that other dude with the same name as me finally reached out to me and I told him everything I've been getting, as I've been forwarding it to him if it looked important.
