He and his wife weren't home at the time and are OK. It may be the catalyst for them to move, though. He's been talking about getting a place way out in the country and with home values bananas, it's probably a good time.

I don't think it will impact the sales that much. It's an insane market and I think the neighborhood is OK.
Hopefully so. Market is nuts so that’s a plus. Buy some land and a little trailer until he can build on the land
Exactly, the great news is most of us can sell our homes in suburban areas for $500k-$600k easy, bad news is buying a new home in a nice area will set you back $800k or more especially new… pfft, lots of land with a trailer is the way !
