I'm cool with Cade getting it. He's a great player and has displayed the ability to put the team on his back.

Just can't let Mobley or especially Barnes get it. Those dudes can't score at an elite level and got get crazy overrated by playing on good teams.

The good team factor makes a massive difference. I think Barnes and Mobley are both really good, but blessed by being on a team that knows how to play the game and use their strengths.

    Ferntits can establish that one.

Too late but he's obviously playing at a ROY level as of late.

I wish he would win it. Probably would have been deserving if the rotations were what they are now. Most likely won’t happen.

Jalen's added an entire point to his season PPG average since the Dallas Game.

If he keeps this up, and averages 30 for his final 3 games, he'll pass Cade Cunningham on seasonal PPG (17.4 vs 17.3), at way better efficiency.

He'd have to average 45-ish to get to 18 PPG, which would be possible if not for KPJ demanding he gets his 20 FGA in for every game.

You mean the KPJ who has taken 20 FGA 3 times the entire season? The hate for KPJ is ridiculous. He has improved by leaps and bounds and is averaging 21/9/6 on 60% TS over the last 6 games at the same time as Jalen's acceleration.

But, sure, he's holding back Jalen.

If Jalen can put up close to 30 with good efficiency for the remaining games he MAY earn TOP 3 on the KIA rookie ladder but that's all he'll get.

I would really like to see Christopher get more burn but how do you do that with Porter? I just don't see it. He's always going to be the 3rd wheel with those guys and his ability to shine is going to suffer. I'm starting to like Porter's game (can't stand his attitude) but I think Christopher is mentally tougher and physically tougher than Porter. He may not have the same level of natural talent but I would think that he has more grit and IQ.

I have a feeling Green is going to be a hall of fame type of player. Just consider that he is nowhere near his physical ceiling and the potential is crazy. Combine that with a willingness to grind and an already blossoming skill set. He can be crazy good.

I'm glad that Jalen Green is playing so well that I don't even care about rookie of the year anymore. Now I'm looking forward to voting for him for the All-Star game as soon as next season (right after I vote for Josh Christopher).

Looking forward to the Kia Rookie Ladder Report after this week's stat line for Green.

    31.5 pts
    4 Reb
    2.5 Ast
    50.1% FG%
    44% 3P%

That ought to bump him into Top 3 territory.
