Starting a new thread since this is happening Tuesday 04/05. If you are on T-Mobile, tomorrow is the day you can sign up for MLB TV for free for the year.
Since I'm in Albany NY. My buddy who is a Mets fan gives me his code every year. I have to throw him a BBQ cook out at my place. We'll worth it. Just curious. My wife is Sprint that was aquired by T Mobile. Wonder if Sprint users get the same deal?
Congrats. I pay $84.50. Given the number of national games, plus the Braves games I'll actually be at, I'm probably spending something like 70 cent per game.
I remember the promo back in the shortened 2020 season then to realize that unless you do a VPN, all the Astros games (home & away) were blacked out b/c of blackout restrictions per zip code that you were watching in unless they've changed the restrictions.
Yeah. I get mlb.tv every year and just stream the Stros games from somewhere else (I'm paying you, MLB, and live 4 hours away from MMP, I feel zero guilt). Speaking of, anyone know of a good sports streaming site these days?
My son has Tmobile and gives me his code. He is a Dodgers fan in Spokane, Wa. I'm an Astros fan in IdWA. Neither of us deal with blackouts We split the cost for the past several years until he changed to Tmobile this year.
Yeah, me too. in CTX. I usually watched via the sportsurge links. Although, I may end up using a vpn for it this year and attempt to watch on my mlbtv account (the audio isn't blacked out like the video is, so I usually listen while mowing etc). I was fairly close to dropping youtubetv to the disdain of the family, and picking up fubotv since it carries the Houston ATTsports network.
Are y'all able to watch at the same time? I can't even have 2 TVs in my own house on at the same time.
Yeah... if I have it on my inside TV and then go to watch the outside TV, I have to log off the inside one.
Thanks for the heads up. I think this is the first season where I will do a better job of following other squads (Jays, Mets, AL west rivals) and ex Astros. Glad baseball is back
