2022 NCAA Tournament

Playing at one of the fastest paces in the tournament, they have a real big for boards, defense and post game. As well as spacing with shooters and hustle glue guys. They look like an NBA team, very calm and level headed. Game isn't over yet, but UNC is very well coached.

He's a tough dude, you can tell his ankle's bothering him. I really like his game: great touch around the rim and just crashes the glass, solid interior defense too.

Story of the game so far: UNC turned 8 offensive rebounds into 18 points that half.

 

Obvious now that they were underseeded by the committee, but they had an inconsistent year and were terrible against other tournament teams (something like 3-8)

North Carolina is 21-0 when leading at halftime. It’s gonna be 21-1 or 112. Embiid and harden ritual, embiid went to Kansas and embiid wears 21, harden wears number 1

 

So, more injuries (relative their opponents)??

There's a huge difference between an 8th seed and Top 4

Most fans/critics aren't clamoring their choice is 4+ seeds greater than its final verdict

Seems a talented underrated team (Carolina) is hitting their stride in a wild historic way

They did lose their best big off the bench (Garcia, transfer from somewhere) at midseason but their big 4 - Davis, Manek, Bacot, Love - played every game.

The ACC had a pretty down year also (UNC was the 2nd highest seeded ACC team, ND, Miami, VT were all 10-11) so that affected their seeding.

The Love injury might be costly, especially getting back on defense and getting trapped initiating offense.

@HardenVolumeOne isn't always right, but when he's on, he's dead accurate.

Also I have a soft spot for him since he told me to take the Rams to win the SB back when the playoffs began, made a couple grand off that.

 

He's playing hurt and toughing it out, still a quality college player. Tighten up the laces and take a shot if they have one, it's the championship. We'll see what happens, UNC's advantages were pushing the pace and physicality.

 

Now Love is playing off ball and setting screens, that's a good adjustment.

 

I'm not rooting for either team but man, Kansas is getting every call and UNC ain't getting squat. Just let the kids play!
