If you can get someone to overpay then you have to consider it

What would you consider overpay? Personally, if we can get pick #29 or #30 then I'd probably jump on it, because that gives us opportunity to get another building block. A late 2nd I'm not as interested in, unless its packaged with some other assets.

That’s exactly what I would consider. If you can get an early 2 or late first you have to take it.

Saw a proposed trade from Raiders for Cooks, a 3 and future 4.
Would much rather keep him than accept that

Yea the only way I think Texans should part is low first or ultra high two …no other scenarios

Incompetent management leads to losses. Hopefully Cal continues to lose money

Good. Hope owner learned the lesson by not getting great players on the field.

Not a fan of this signing but hopefully they draft a rb that doesn't require Mack to carry a heavy load. 10-15 touches a game should be plenty for Mack

Low risk, high reward or low risk, no reward. It just feels like another David Johnson signing. Of course I'd be ecstatic to be wrong

Yup...there is no point in trading him for a later 2nd or a 3rd because if he leaves the Texans would probably get a 3rd rounder as a compensatory pick anyways.

Also I wouldn't trade him until draft day to make sure a receiver they really like/want is there at 13.
