I want the Rockets only win in these next 5 games to be against Brooklyn.

If Brooklyn is away for play in games, can the city just enact an indoor COVID vaccination policy for a day?

lol a deeper run w/ a headcase who hasn't played in a year can't make a J to save his life and has zero chemistry built up w/ this team

Or what would it take for the Nets to face the Raptors in Toronto. No Kyrie.

Come on guys, the Nets are not missing the Playoffs. KD is too good, and even then, Silver will not allow it. He's already preparing for the Lakers missing it.

That ship has likely sailed due to Cleveland's injuries.

Would rather trade that Net's pick for Jalen Johnson.

    Cannot have enough Jalens.

A 1 game play-in though, would be glorious. Trae can beat ANYONE in 1 game.

big day today for the Hawks and Hornets…if both of them win, and BK loses, BK will drop to 10th

Hornets play the Sixers in Philly, and Hawks play the Nets in Atlanta

Do I trust either team to get it done? Hell no, but I still got hope

What would a lineup of this look like on the court:

    KPJ
    Green
    Chet
    Jalen Duren
    Sengun

You can offload Wood for a future pick to offset any sort of picks you give to move up from the Nets pick for Duren. I think he'd be a valuable piece on a team like this.

Not sure how much it moves the needle, but it excites me for three years down the line.

would Swap Sengun and Duren so he’s at the 5 and Sengun is at the 4. But I’m starting to get excited about the possibility of adding two impact bigs from the draft. I don’t think that’ll be Chet and Duren, but guys like Paolo and Jabari can slide over to the 3.

    My ideal:
    5 - Duren
    4 - Sengun
    3/4 - Jabari
    2 - Green
    1 - ?
6th man - KPJ (if he can keep his head on straight)

that lineup is versatile and scary both defensively and offensively.

it’s gonna take a lot in addition to the nets pick to move into the top 10, and that’s what we’d have to do to snag Duren. But depending on who we get with our first pick and what we decide to do with KPJ long term, guys like Tate, Christopher, KJ, Gordon, and of course Wood will be expendable. Hopefully some combo of those guys and picks will get it done.

Snag the best defensive big in the draft? Yes please.

That would be great but KD is gonna expose our greatest weakness. We have no one who can defend the top wing players in the league. Hope it's gets addressed in the draft.

I hope they trade the Nets pick (and maybe wood or KPJ etc) for a pick next year.

then you have that pick/bucks pick/Rockets own pick plus a player or two to get a top 5 pick.

You use Cap space to sign a player at a position of need.

    2023 lineup

    Green
    Sengun
    2022 pick
    2023 pick
    FA signing

    Christopher 6th man
    Martin
    Tate
    Garuba

I can't trust either of these teams, sadly. And with Allen injured on Cleveland, I'm not sure I can trust them, either. Oh well, I can pretend to be content with that pick, I suppose.
