Comedians got each other’s back, I’m noticing a specific theme,,The thing I’m noticing is it’s not black comedians and white comedians …it’s comedians. Comedians have the power because who they are transcends race

Yep. LOTS of examples of this. This is hardly the first.

Do agree that this isn't about 'wokeness', except maybe for those defending it. Given how much of a me too society we have become, I think its a very legitimate question for comedians to now ask 'what about me? Will this happen to me, too?' Because the joke was VERY mild. Jada had stated just a few days earlier that she had come to grips with her baldness, and didn't “give two craps what people think of this bald head of mine.” So, absolutely nothing there for Will to get so bent out of shape about. If worth addressing, should have been done after the show.

Was this staged? Not sure, but interesting food for thought I heard: Pfizer was one of the big sponsors for the event, and Pfizer makes the drug that treats alopecia. Follow the money? I'm not sayin'...I'm just saying....

the best response I heard (can't find it now, it was some athlete) was "I give props to Will Smith. I wouldn't defend another man's girl like that."

Ahh, so you don't have any experience with anything related to your comment, then? Glad we got that cleared up.

Jesus Christ, Paul Rodriguez. Too normal for Cheech and Chong (despite being scared of the Jesus painting in Born in East LA), and too little of anything for anything else. Maybe he and John Schneider can get Grand Slam rebooted, reenact the pepper taste-off ("naw man, these are tears of joy").

Remember his stand-up special at San Quentin ("so you made to the Big Q, ese?")

Ivermectin has been used for decades for similar treatments. Research before kowtowing to your media propaganda...

Comedian Dave Chappelle was assaulted on stage during his set at the Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday night, according to people who attended the show and footage circulating on social media.

Several event attendees posted videos of the incident on Tuesday evening, the footage seeming to show Chappelle on stage performing when a man to his right rushes at him attempting to tackle him.

The man is then seen to be dragged away by security.

ABC7 Eyewitness News reported that the LAPD responded to an incident at the Hollywood Bowl, and had taken a man into custody who was armed with a gun and a knife.

In video footage after the attack, Chappelle is seen to recover his composure and joke, “It was a trans man.”

Stephanie Wash, a journalist for ABC, tweeted that Chris Rock, who performed earlier in the evening, then came on stage and joked: “Was that Will Smith?”

Later, in video of the curtain call, Chappelle spoke more about the incident and called out to thank actor-comedian Jamie Foxx. “Whenever you’re in trouble, Jamie Foxx will show up in a sheriff’s hat,” said Chappelle.

“N——, I thought that was part of the show, I didn’t know what the ****…” Foxx jokes in response.

Chappelle then says, “I grabbed the back of that n—— head. His hair was spongy. Absorbent”

Foxx then takes a moment to address the crowd and Chappelle. “Listen, I just want to say, this man is an absolute genius. We’ve got to make sure we protect him at all times,” said Foxx.

He added, “For every comedian who comes out here, this means everything. You’re a genius. You’re a legend, I enjoyed myself thoroughly, and we’re not going to let nothing happen to you.”

Chappelle then jokes to Foxx, “I’ve been doing this for 35 years. I just stomped a n——— backstage. I’ve always wanted to do that.”
