What a load of crap. First, New York and Boston cheated prior to Houston (and after for that matter) 09-17 is a long time. Open the letter
Wow, I've kind of gotten tired of seeing people say "living in your head rent-free" as I think it's gotten over-used, but the Yankees GM still talking about 2017 and b****ing and moaning about how his team's fans/media are mean to him because they haven't been to a World Series since 2009 is the very definition of living in their head rent-free. They're STILL talking about it.
What an ass clown. You already got caught, you're being shielded by maamfred, at least have the decency to stfu and not say anything by playing the victim to fuel puff pieces like this.
They got beat by the Rays, who have the combined pay roll of a yacht and they would have to face a 100+ win Dodgers team. F off
You gotta wonder if he reread what he said later and realized how f**king stupid and pathetic that sounded. "We've sucked since 2009 because the Astros hurt us in 2017."
I had to go back and read that again and he is definitley trying to blame the Astros for there recent failures. I can't even.
It was helped by Chapman going to the well once too often and offering up that breaking pitch again to Altuve. Can't blame the pitch choice on the Astros.
You’re not wrong. Keuchel dominated them in game 1. JV threw maybe his best game as an Astro ever in game 2 (the no-hitter was technically better, but given the stakes, I’ll take that game), JV then came back for game 6 and was very good (not as dominant… but still 7 shutout innings), then Morton/LMJ combine to finish them off in game 7. Maybe Boone should be sick that they knew what pitch LMJ was going to throw and they did nothing with it.
He couldn't locate the heater, so when 'Tuve watched the preceding pitch into the glove, he was all over the next one. Such an intelligent AB ruined by likes of Jomboy, et al.
Cashman knows that Yankees fans are pissed at him so he thought that since bashing the Astros is good for business for reporters and fans like to pile on then he could do the same. Instead, we're seeing Yankees fans on Twitter change course by attacking him for blaming the Astros for all their playoff failures since 2009.
