I'm pretty sure Tinman isn't white, but the second part is possibly true.

I think this thing is a gross overreaction, especially in the media. Comedians are certainly not under attack. What happened at the Oscars seemed like a beef between two men. There's much worse things going on in the world, right now.

Just because someone is making jokes or is Comedian does not exempt them from criticism, especially if they are completely wrong about something and are going beyond the point of making jokes. And, some of them are @ssholes, even to their own fans at times, so it's all fair game.

I know people harping on the Chapelle thing, but considering that it happened at the same time anti-LGBTQ and anti-trans laws are being passed throughout the USA. Basically, supporting those things in a round-about way.

Rogan boycott, was not done in from comedic aspects, it was because he was spreading misinformation about Covid-19, and the artists of the platform have right to not share that space with him.

    what about DaBaby?
Anyone who's gone to a real hip hop show (Not Macklemore ) knows people make crude jokes at their shows

and Jim Carrey standing up for Chris

    1. DaBaby? Are you kidding me? Haha. DaBaby wasn't making any jokes. He was being dead serious and what he said didn't even make any sense.

    2. Point being? He's one guy with an opinion, one comedian with an opinion. I People are defending Will, and people are defending Chris. It's not a moralistic situation.

I've always found that weird with some comedians, they don't mind criticizing people, but if someone criticizes them. Trouble. trouble. Trouble.

    DaBaby was high making jokes

No way he knows if anyone is having sex in the parking lot of his show, he can't see that far and of course he wouldn't know if it were dudes.

Plus it's HIS SHOW. Any comedy show has crass jokes just like hip hop shows.

Oddly enough, no one made any mentions to it, but him. I find that ironic. If he can't see it, why would he mention it? What was even the punch line or joke he was trying to make? What he said didn't even make sense unless you are involved in something like that yourself or watch/like to watch men do that at the shows. It was so random and incoherent.

Boosie said every DJ says stuff to hype the crowd
This was a put your hands in the air request
Nobody in the audience cares , except the dude who decided to post his video of the show
Then people who never cared about rap music started crying and saying it’s harming gay people and aids and other outrage crap

    this is society today

But, what was funny about what he said? What was the joke? It was just him saying stuff. It was even in comedic. How does that even get the crowd into mood?

It's ridiculous to say that had anything to do with comedy. What he said didn't make any sense? What was the funny part that was supposed to make everyone laugh?

This is society today, so are you saying people didn't criticize rap music back in 90s and 2000s. Like, it was never a target for family and conservative groups.

If you like to bully and belittle people, then I guess it's a good past time to use in entertainment and comedy.
