lol. There are probably so many samples I've heard in some of my favorite songs that I never knew was a sample. I used to blast NWA's Dopeman and loved this next part that I never knew was an Ohio Players sample (they also used it in Gangsta Gangsta). I later find out it's probably one of the most sampled tracks out there : What's crazy is that it's the same reason I probably drove around cranking this song and never connected the dots. It's the same sample, yet even though I never heard the Ohio Players much as a kid, I never connected the dots between MC Breed's and NWA's tracks as basically using the same sample :
The Funky Worm along with Fly Like an Eagle, Long Red, and the drum break to a James Brown song, Funky Drummer are some of the most sampled songs in music history.
I've been holding my breath for a month or so that my fav band in the world doesn't die in Kyiv. Here is a song referencing the conflict ala 2019 If you've guys have skipped this one because it's metal, please give it a go anyway. Closest I get to a thoughts and prayers meaning anything to me I guess.
just learned about this band. Very interesting, but the singer just left the band for awhile anyway. Kinda long slow buildup but great song.
