Not only that but if Chris really wanted to he could have quick wit heckled him and made him look very very bad as well. Strong comedians have that ability towards hecklers to make a scene and embarrass them huge and Chris had tons of material at that moment if he wanted to go down the dark path but he chose the high road…lesson for all of us. Myself included : Always try to take emotions out of decisions

Yeah the more I think about it, the more I find it a weak move. He’s had so many people that have given him reasons (not saying it’s right) to do this and I don’t think this was one of them. I feel like he blew up on the weakest possible person with all the grief Jada has given him.
I wonder if he wasn't up for the Best Actor award--or even the heavy favorite--would the repercussions have been different.

Yeah I read that, too. I'm not saying he should have been arrested, though in pretty much any other circumstance, security guards would have gotten involved. But it seems he not only stayed in the theater, everyone just applauded for him when he got his Oscar.
