Unfortunately we know that won’t happen. Think we just all got to hope for the best in the lottery at this point. That’s all we can do…
No reason Gordon Wood and Schoeder should have been on this team after the deadline. Silas is soft, but he gets his marching orders from the front office. This is on Stone and more likely the f**kface who owns the team.
The problem is, we are not the only team that „hopes“ to lose. And we have the easiest remaining schedule - and several of the teams we are playing wouldnt mind losing to improve their draft chances. But I do hope we can somehow find it in us to finish with the worst record…
We are playing with fire and see if we can sabotage ourselves. Get a high pick and still win some games, fine yet useless balance.
They are being so incredibly idiotic right now. The performances we saw from Green and Sengun were great, but they were against the worst team in the league. However, I expect them to be able to do this against a lot more teams 10-20 games into next season. That duo along with our lotto pick will make it impossible to tank without taking minutes away from them. Which means, we're not going to tank again. We might be idiots and try to do it poorly next season, but this team is not winning less than 30 next season with Sengun/Jabari/Green. Which means, this summer's pick is so important. For f'ing Silas to be playing with fire right now and Stone to have no control of it is maddening. Sit the vets, even Adam Silver can't say anything now, those guys are not part of our future plans and the summer is less than 10 games away.
We all think Silas is in charge and he is not. Stone should be and he is not because Silas isn’t. Our player’s coach players are => Gordon, Tate, Wood & Porter, as crazy as it sounds, run the team. Look at the end result and say it’s different.
They want us to stop watching. Utterly illogical, and against everything they have been telling us this season. As we have been saying since the Harden trade, complaining is not because of the losing. It’s because the lack of trust on who is leading us through it. Completely outtanked by Portland, we are not even good enough for losing. Professional malpractice, just like not evaluating Mobley, not trading Ego. Etc.
Guys, chill. This is not the old lottery. The new lottery odds are not so dependent on one or two slots on the W/L records. The top 3 worst teams have exactly the same probabilities for top 4 picks. For the gold and silver tankers, the only difference is a 20% probability of picking #5 vs #6 (and a similar difference between silver and bronze). There are a lot of things that are more important for a franchise than a #5 to #6 downgrade that happens once in 5 years.
