Freethrows have been the difference so far. Coogs can't make them, Nova can. Old nemesis. Coogs stuck on 40 pts., not looking good. It was like a mud wrestling match.

 

Just remembered that all 3 players that made last year's Regional All-Tournament Team for the Coogs are not playing tonight.

Regardless of how this ends, Coogs have had a hell of a year.

Nova was our absolute worst match up and that turned out to be correct.

Just wasn’t meant to be. No breaks the whole game. Nova deserves it.

 

This has been the hardest game to watch. Miss after miss after miss.

 

They have and I couldnt be prouder, I’m not an alum but as a Houstonian have always rooted for them.

 

Hate losing a game because of poor shooting - layups, free throws, threes. Nothing going. Defense and effort were there. Just couldn’t hit shots. Sucks. Amazing to get to the Elite Eight without the best two scorers, but finally needed them tonight.

 

Picked a bad time to play our worst game of the year.

Great season. Go to elite 8 without your best player is very impressive. Reload and make a run next season.

 

Proud of this squad. Sorry for that Moore injury— non contact, looked bad. Better team won today. 100% free throws, man… if only we could do that… Can’t wait for next year!
