Excess Big Gubmint regulation doncha know. We need the freedom for Dr. Quack to promote his/her (sorry Conservos_)magic elixers to cure all diseases on the public airways.

Sheesh, I thought this crap was done away with back in the 1930's or so.

Flu is rampant right now. Very unsual for it to be out this early. A patient said he had both covids and this flu A is worse.

Is there a vaccine for that strain? How does it affect the elderly?

I'll just put this here....I had the Pfizer vaccine about a year ago and the booster about 6 months ago. I have not had COVID. My wife had a very mild case.

I was curious about my antibody status so I had the blood test. Apparently I still have plenty. Based on their graph, my number was in the 80th percentile in the high range, but interpreting the number doesn't seem to be cut and dried.

I'll probably go get tested again in June and see if the number goes down.

I got Moderna three times including a booster just after Thanksgiving. I haven't done an antibody test but I've had many COVID tests since then including daily testing while traveling internationally and took another test last week. All have come up negative.

It's possible the vaccine could've caused the blood clot but unlikely. As has been said repeatedly if the vaccines were so deadly it would be very obvious.

For example just anecdotally it sounds like most of Clutchfans has been vaccinated and if the vaccines were so deadly we would be hearing about it.

So far it appears that deaths that a strong correlation, I'm not aware if a causal link has been shown, can be shown to taking any of the vaccines appear to be about 1 in a million. While death from getting infected with COVID appear to be about 1 in a thousand.

While there is a risk from taking the vaccine it is far far far lower than the risk of getting COVID.

Yes, I found out that he actually had a MRSA infection after spinal surgery and then the blood clots. So I guess the person commenting on Facebook was misinformed and making a connection that wasn't there.

Yep and had the former President run on the speed at which the vaccine was produced and its effectiveness in test subjects and showed empathy and a consistent message on COVID, he likely would have handily won the election.

But, since he is a self proclaimed stable genius, he went in a different direction and lost the election.

The election was rigged and none of you people can be trusted to comment truthfully on that, or much of anything else for that matter.

What?! You mean your anecdote sowing the seeds of vaccine safety skepticism wasn't in any way representative of the reality of the data we have on hundreds of millions of doses administered?

At least you're out there "asking questions".

If the intent is to misinform people people and steer them away from the safe and protective vaccine, there is. If that isn't the intent, then no, nothing wrong at all.
