The 49ers gave up two future firsts and a third to move from 12 to 3 last year. Houston needs to move out of that spot and get an additional future first to draft a few spots back. Getting a first next year and an additional second or third while still staying in the top 10 with this year's pick would be big.
It's hard to imagine this dude not being a stud. I get the feeling he's gonna end up falling mid-first to the Chargers or someone like that and be an all pro within 2 years. He is one of the craziest athletes. Complete freak. Didn't even really get an opportunity to rush the passer at Georgia bc they didn't need him to do it. He'll be disruptive against the run and the pass at the next level. There are some absolute monsters throughout the first round of this draft.
You can't avoid Mulagetta guys just bc he's a POS. I can't remember who, but someone brought up the point of why Caserio didn't want to completely play hard ball with Deshaun, bc he still needs to have a cordial relationship with DM for down the road. That being said, if 2 players are equal then go for the non-DM guy.
Yep….and it really seems like he wants to be great and seems like he’s really willing to take to coaching as well. Warren Sapp vibes??
just because you were outmanuvered/tricked by Mulugheta, working with him still might be in the best interest of the team to win
I dont know why but I get some Dontari Poe from Davis. Not a bad thing, but I dont know if I go DL with 13. Im not ready to pull the plug on a Maliek Collins, Russ Blacklock or Roy Lopez platoon on the DL just yet.
If we go Dline I’d prefer edge rushers. Inside seems pretty solid right now. Really linebacker, secondary and edge should be the focus on the defense
I'm hoping Hamilton or Hutchinson falls in our laps but also I hope Caserio can use one of those 11 picks on Trey McBride. The Texans haven't had a good TE since Owen Daniels and I think McBride has George Kittle at Iowa type vibes.
Damn between having all these picks and what Caserio did last draft I’m thinking he may be more likely to move up than down. Maybe not in the 1st it using some of those 3rds and 4ths to move up into the 2nd.
Found this on r/texans subreddit. Crazy how our picks are valued now with the change of picks from yesterday.....
Looking back at when Lovie carried a big bat in the drafts, because of his system D-line and DBs ruled his drafts. *except that year they took Benson. If I'm Nick, I'm still looking to move back to 6th or 8 th especially after what the idiots Mulaghetta, Cal and Jack put me through. So with the 6th or 8th pick, the selection should be best available: Sauce, Hamilton orWalker. The 13th pick? If you're really building around "He's All That", you take best available receiver. There are going to be some good ones or get Christian Watson in the second round and select Lloyd with the 13th pick. Use the other 2nd rounder to get a Tackle that you switch to every position because that's what these Chowda heads do. Abram Smith or any running back under the age of 50 with one of those 3rd rounders. I'm liking all the suggestions in here except the offensive line but that's only because Texans would put them in the worst spot, wiping with their left when they're right handed etc Can't wait ti April 28th!!!
