So KPJ is going to start and probably have a good game. His ankle is going to be fine. Everything is swept under the rug…again. All is forgiven as long as you can 20 points or 8+ assists every now and then. People will be thumping their chest saying I can’t believe you want to get rid of this.

he’s going to go crazy again like he always does.

You know he's not the first player to play through an ankle injury right?

Also, what's to forgive? The fact that he got pissed off at not getting calls last game and was a bit whiny about it? Do you think he's the first player to get pissed off at refs for not making calls?

I get it, some people just want to advance certain narratives no matter what, but can you imagine the outrage if ANYONE was even half this critical of another guard on the Rockets?

This is a bad take in my opinion.

What is your obsession with bringing everything back to Jalen Green? What has he done remotely similar to what KPJ has done and has a well documented history of doing? He’s been kicked off 2 teams in a row and it honestly should be 3.

Jalen Green had a bad start to his rookie season. He struggled making shots and playing defense. That’s it. And it was well documented. How can you say nobody was critical of that when you were among a group of people pointing out how bad he was on a daily basis? Not a character or attitude issue. Not an effort issue. His issues were basketball related.

Since then, he has been very good all of February and March. Including yesterday he’s had three sub 40% shooting games in the past 21 games and is shooting over 49% in the month of March. That’s good consistency for a guard period, not just a rookie guard. He’s improving. Averaging 20 points per game over an extended period while being a 3rd option. How is this even remotely comparable?

KPJ is a head case.

It's relevant given that that specific toxic player only fanbase has been pushing for the Rockets to cut KPJ since before the season started.....and they are the ones most loudly still pushing that narrative......yet they cried their eyes out when there was fair criticism of their deity when he was playing poorly.

They CONSTANTLY give the worst faith interpretation of everything KPJ does and do all in their power to downplay every performance.

Since those are the worst offenders, those are who I'm talking about and I'm pointing out the hypocrisy.

 

No matter how bad KPJ behaves, he would get superstar treatment from Rockets front office as usual. Lol.
