If MLB/ Manfred actually hid this to cover for the precious Yankees it should be a bigger story than the original Astros scandal.
I don't know what is in the letter, but I feel there has to be something of note (maybe not even related to sign stealing). At this point, hiding the letter makes MLB/Yankees seem guilty, so they would have been better off just letting it get out in the open if they had absolutely nothing to hide. There is something that made them feel it was worth keeping sealed. Maybe it is just something embarrassing to one of the parties? Regardless, I am happy it will be out and we will all know.
All a lawyer has to do is keep appealing until the case is moot. Justice delayed is justice DENIED. Yankees are cheating and we can't have it, Warn the other teams that if THEY get caught doing what the YANKEES are doing, there will be maximum punishment as we tell the Yankees you're being fined 50 cents. NOW STOP GETTING CAUGHT!

Absolutely nothing is going to come out of this and it doesn’t need too. There have been plenty of folks saying that other teams besides the Astros were cheating, and people don’t care. The Astros were the scapegoat, the biggest mistake they made in all of this is admitting to what they did. In my heart of hearts I believe Manfred told the Astros, keep your mouths shut about other teams and I’ll leave y’all alone. Look at what the Red Sox did, they gave Cora a one year vacation when he got suspended and then hired him right back. Journalist have become lazy and they love the Astros cheating scandal because it’s easy. This letter can be unsealed and posted up on a billboard and nobody is going to care.
