True, but his Still a big body and can play defense!. Beside, Orlando is in no situation to dictate the Terms anymore!.
I love it lol... phoenix fans are going bananas! "I can't believeBrian Colangelo just did this. We throw away two first round picks in the Googs deal just to save money and now this. And what are we saving cap space for ? To sign Okur? Nash? What a waste." "Ive been a Phoenix Suns fan since at least 1983-84. What is going on here??? I can't believe the Suns just traded the #7 pick in the draft to Chicago! John Paxson just beat the Suns again! ARGH!!!"
Pxson just Puled there Pants down and we foundout Colengelo was'nt wearing any underwear!. humiliated!. not only they lost T-MAC, they lost there # 7 too for nothing!
No kidding. Man, I'm away a few minutes and this place blows up! CD, squeeze a better deal outta this. Go for it!
i agree with that fan's sentiments. What the hell are the Suns thinking? I guess they are hoping to get a high pick back next year, and maybe the draft will be better. Weisbrod screws up again. Tried to drag this out beyond the draft, and the suns wanted none of that.
This is big, Hou-Orl-Chi can really work out a deal to help all teams. Houston Trades Steve Francis Cuttino Mobley Kelvin Cato Houston Recieves Tracy McGrady Juwan Howard Tyronn Lue Andrew DeClerq Orlando Trades Tracy McGrady Juwan Howard Tyronn Lue Andrew DeClerq Orlando Recieves #3 pick- Deng? Crawford S&T Cuttino Mobley Kelvin Cato Filler if necessary Chicago Trades #3 pick Crawford S&T Filler if necessary Chicago Recieves Steve Francis
I do have one question though. If T-Mac signs with us, his contract is going to end next year, right? So, if he refuses to resign with Houston, doesn't it make this deal less appealing?
The Suns could still offer the Magic, Marion, JJ and plus throw in Top 3 Portected blls Pick in 2005!. bulls are gonna stink it up again, so that 205 top 3 pick could be handy!
Well, T-Mac signing an extension with Houston is a given in making the deal...I believe he has said he will and I know it has been discussed with his agent. His willingness to sign or not sign with a given team is how he can dictate the trade And he wants to come play for us!
the coangelos run the 2nd worst front office in the league right behind the clips. while having probably the best scouts of any team in the league they have managed to trade 2 first rounders (1 this year, 1 future) to the jazz, traded the clippers pick that was owed to them to the bobcats. and have now traded the number 7 pick for a pick that that be anywhere from next year to 3 years from now. last year they sent brevin knight (expiring contract) to washington for jahadi white, who did didly squat, and gave a number 1 pick to charlotte to take him off their hands. in order to save luxury tax money last season they shipped googs to utah with 2 number 1s. thank god im not a suns fan.
