lmao browns lit their relationship with Mayfield on fire only to get 4th place in the Watson sweepstakes
How is the 8th pick vs 18th negligible? The pick this year is the biggest key to the rebuilding process IMO as it’s the only real known commodity in terms of value outside of the players received. Anticipating a suspension of Watson (who has never once been suspended) or implosion is very wishful thinking. That being said, three firsts, two seconds, Ruiz and Gardner-Johnson wouldn’t be a bad haul. Still would like a Top 10 pick if it’s there.
Alright Rudy. It's coming soon. Watson is probably a Falcon. If Pitts is a Texan, you can praise Nick to oblivion and I will agree.
If its the Saints: Texans get: 3 - 1sts 2- 2nds C/G- Caesaer Ruiz CB- Marshon Lattimore DE- Marcus Davenport Saints Get: Deshaun Watson And everyone can move on.................
why wouldn't we celebrate getting rid of a massive cap hit that won't see the field and receiving a haul of assets in return?
Not sure if it'll play into his decision, but the Saints play in Houston next year (2023) whereas the Falcons would host the Texans. In 2027, it is flipped.

I haven't gone to a game since the pandemic started. If Deshaun is on the Saints, I will definitely be there to heckle as loud as I ever had. It would be probably the greatest heckling game in Houston Sports history. Ben Simmons in Philadelphia levels of vitriol.
Also comes down to team's scouting departments vs looking solely at numbers 8 vs 18. If you have a decent scouting department, you're more likely to hit with your higher pick then selecting from a (albeit) slightly smaller pool at 18.
