If you think it will be only beneficial to the team then you can believe that. Watson will choose where he goes and Houston will make do.

I don't think any team can top the Carolina deal so let's make it happen and finish running this disgusting piece of **** the hell out of town.

I know for some football is all that matters, but unless you're a complete scumbag of a person, some things are simply more important than that game.

At this point if you can get three first rounders, 2-3 other quality picks and 1-2 talented young guys, you take the deal and get rid of the headache. Both sides have some leverage, and drawing this out longer doesn't help the rebuilding process or the team's reputation at all.

New Orleans may not have the best offer on the table, but if Watson says "it's New Orleans or nothing," you do what you can to get as many assets as possible to get closer to that Panthers package and you call it a day.

The Texans are in a great spot from a bidding war standpoint. If they don't pull the trigger, it might backfire and hurt Watson's value even more. Let this circus end so we can finally start the rebuild and get excited about the draft.

    Or you say to Watson.
That deal to NOLA wasn't worth it in the end.
Get ready you are our starter next year.
I Bet all avenues open from his side at that point.
    Desaun,
Take the trade we want, be active on Texans roster next year or be suspended for conduct detrimental to the team

I believe this can happen. It may be that we have a standoff for a few weeks and see who blinks.

That's why I keep going huh when people say Desaun gets the final say. It's not his decision to make

The sad truth is that no deal gets done without Deshaun’s approval. I don’t think Nick wants the distraction again. The Saints package is the weakest but they are clearly the team that will compete with Watson immediately. I wouldn’t be surprised if he says New Orleans or bust, which sucks. One last **** you on the way out.

To Desaun my reply would be,
See you in mandatory mini camp.
Come in, in shape you are our guy this year.

But I know the brass DOES want this to go away. I think the N O is the least appealing.

Im not sure everyone understands the ramifications of giving players no trade clauses to begin with.

I would agree with you but that’s not what is happening according to every report. The Saints apparently have a package that will get a deal done which sucks. I don’t know any of the players on the table from any team but consensus is Carolina’s Chinn and Burns are the best guys potentially on the table so what I’m more interested in is the team with the highest picks. Atlanta would be okay too especially once they trade Ryan for another pick

Well it's the most Texans thing to do.
    Take the least attractive deal.
    Why break from patterned behavior.

Those falcon picks and AJ Terrell who was an all-pro are looking real good.

And no pitts will not be in the deal him and Watson are close and they also share same agent.

No matter what happens with this trade it sucks. I really wish the Chiefs took this bozo and the Texans ended up with Patrick.

If the Texans were going to take that hard line, why did they let Deshaun visit with New Orleans in the first place? Everything from the media says Caserio and co. were good with the offers given by the teams he's met with, and the front office gave those teams and Watson the go ahead to meet. If Caserio was never going to take the offer provided by New Orleans, he wouldn't have allowed the meeting to happen in the first place.

Like it or not, if Watson picks New Orleans, he's going to be a Saint. As long as we get a solid package with three first rounders and players, we should honestly consider ourselves lucky. Given the allegations against him, frankly, I'm shocked any team would be willing to offer up that many assets. I'll be thrilled when the deal is done.

Mahomes would’ve asked for a trade too.

And what's a distraction going to do for the Texans? Hinder our superbowl chances? Were top 3 pick bound with or without distractions on the team and the Texans are already the punch line in the NFL.
    **** what Watson wants.
Nick needs to slam his nuts on the dresser. Id rather see Watson rot away at home without pay and waste more of his prime and we get NOTHING than make him happy at our expense.
