I hear what you’re saying However it comes down to bringing up topics that should be looked into and unfortunately she brings up topics that a lot of right wing politicians also bring up I can’t help that but I can help on whether I determine if the points are valid and make sense And they do- If that is being a simpleton then call me a simpleton I really don’t care I’m not here to impress the scumbags in this thread that I honestly could care less about what happens to them if they fall off the face of the earth
It all comes down to not what her policies involve because dobro the nutcase explicitly talked about her policies ….it comes down to her sharing issues that perhaps conservative politicians share issues with and how to handle those issues and the fact that it’s not in accordance with the woke mentality is simply criticized as simpleton minded ~makes me realize who the real simpletons are because all you have to do is follow the logic they share which to me should be more about celebrating independent thought process- This once again proves that as a woke left-winger you bettter be lockstep in every thought process or they will come up with crazy talking points Like you want to kill people in hospitals and imaginary unicorn stuff- This is the kind of thinking that Putin would absolutely love you guys to instill upon the masses
Is what it is.... Money talks..... Russian TV Uses Tucker Carlson and Tulsi Gabbard to Sell Putin’s War
Well people get frustrated and call each other names which is unfortunate. Once you do that you're essentially writing them off and just venting. Look if she posted a few right wing things then that would be one thing. But when you look at her feed - nearly EVERY post is a right-wing talking point, and she ignores many other talking points she should support on the left. For instance, she makes a big deal about Joe Rogan but doesn't talk about how teachers in schools are being muzzled. In fact she never criticizes those on the far right and many of her tweets are clips of Sean Hannity! If her stances were consistent across the board, I wouldn't pay too much attention - but she is cherry picking to play to the Trump audience. All I am saying she definitely has an agenda that's hidden. In terms of the whole woke thing. I think it's important to keep in mind that liberals are hardly lock step in one mindstep. As has been pointed out in this very thread - people like @Nook, @Major, @DaDakota , @rocketsjudoka @Buck Turgidson and many others who get labeled "liberals" these days definitely don't agree with one another. Most "liberals" I know don't buy into "wokeness" in fact, it's a small part that creates a lot more noise than their representation - and frankly I think woke is more a pejorative applied by the right to overzealous and naive college students and now a means to dismiss anything from the left that is related to cultural views. In fact the right is far far more in lock step and chants a similar message across the spectrum than the left on most issues.
She's not an honest broker and definitely something very peculiar going on with her. I think she burned a lot of bridges on the left and that's made her looking to stay relevant by appealing to the right. They don't seem to mind one bit either.
Are Poland's MiG 29s Critical for Ukraine's Defense Against Russia? The former US Air Commander of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan is truly “puzzled” by Russia’s inability to establish air superiority and hopes that the much discussed Polish MIG 29s will quickly get to Ukraine. <snip> It should have been done quietly, with Ukrainian pilots taking the train to Poland, flying the Jets back to Ukraine and getting them into the fight,” retired Lt. Gen. David Deptula, Dean of the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies and former Afghan Air War Commander, told The National Interest in an interview. <snip> “NATO right now is giving Ukraine rifles and missiles. It’s time to give aircraft that can help them immediately and be put to use defending their people. If we transfer a pocket knife to Ukraine, Putin is going to object. A weapons system is a weapon system,” he said." https://warriormaven.com/russia-ukraine/poland-mig-29s-russia-ukraine
Dude, if flightradar is picking up military flights all over eastern Europe, don't you think the Russians can see a warplane flying from Poland into Ukraine. Do you think they give a F who is flying it? https://www.flightradar24.com/blog/a-look-at-some-military-activity-in-airspace-around-ukraine/
Every party elects a whackjob to office on occasion. Your party kowtows to the biggest one in recent history.
What's clear to me - and I've seen it in other threads - is that ROXRAN is truly frightened and enraged by the "woke liberal" boogeyman. No matter what the political topic is, he finds a way to drop that in as an intended* insult or make a rather muddled argument that "wokeness" is the real problem. In the present case, we're talking about Tulsi Gabbard's long history of repeating pro-Putin propaganda and accepting pro-Putin campaign donations - a topic that literally has nothing to do with "woke" politics. Yet ROXRAN has thrown down that term a couple of times already, as if being woke is the reason people can't make sense of his convoluted defense of a particularly shitty politician. *I just want to say that calling someone "woke" as an insult has become the 2000s version of calling someone "gay" as an insult that many of us unfortunately grew up hearing and saying in the 80s-90s (and earlier I suppose - I just wasn't around). The real spirit of "wokeness" is nothing more than listening to, respecting and sharing the perspectives of historically disadvantaged and silenced persons and groups. I definitely find no shame in adopting that spirit, and frankly find attempts to use the term as an insult utterly pathetic.
This! To belittle the concept shows true disregard for embracing disadvantaged and silenced persons or groups. Spinning "woke" as a bad thing show how far we Americans still need to come to be a nation that is truly accepting all humans as equals.
