OK, while the TMac threads are growing to record sizes, just for curiosity's sake:

How much work have you done since the TMac deal got hot?

Guilty, a few hours TOTAL. In fact I have worked less today than the previous two days because right now I feel like I know the LEAST about what is going on and I am trying to find out!

I've only been able to get a few hours of work done. I keep finding myself glued to the bbs, constantly hitting refresh. I've even stopped answering my phone and dealing with the voicemails later.

this is a funny poll. I've probably worked a total of 5 full hours in the last 3 days.

Why won't this deal just close? I thought that my procrastination at work, and my low billable hours, would just stop after the Rockets lost in the playoffs. I seriously stopped watching basketball until the Finals, and I only watched because I bet $100 on the Piston to win the series. This really sucks.

    Francis is seriously damaged goods.

Heh. The poll will probably be skewed towards people who are checking the site all the time, right?

That being said, I've gotten maybe 5 hours of work done in the past 36 hours. When I'm not lurking here, I'm geeking out on the phone with all my friends, most of whom hate the Rockets. If this deal falls through I'll be eating a lot of crow.

One funny note -- up until yesterday, I was on a sailboat and had no contact with the outside world. I come to the BBS and see 20 pages about T-Mac -- it was the most wonderful surprise. Thanks to everyone for the excellent comments, analyses, and scoops! This is why Clutchfans.net is the best site on the net.

It would have been a work-killer if Clutch hadn't locked non-contributors out! As it was, I've managed to get more than usual done.

I didn't know he did that. Anyway, if this deal drags on, a lot of people may get fired. . . or some companies will go out of business. :D

    Great Side Thread.

I do web development work from home. I am having problems finding billable hours for the last few days. I am sadly a lurking junkie. I rarely post but am addicted to reading all the Rox updates. These trade talk needs to end soon. I have a project I am trying to wrap up right now, and this is making it way to difficult to work efficiently.

    ha ha ha

Ive been up this morning and had to run out of town briefly for 2 hours. I did about 100 on the way home and actually broke off in the middle of an appointment to go listen to the 2:20 PM 610 radio update.

Awesome! I am a web developer also. I spent a good majority of the day in this forum and then when it was time to go i drove home like a maniac to check the boards from my home computer (which I am at right now!)

I've been checking up every time I get to a stopping point, which is about every half an hour. I'm actually proud of myself when I can go an hour or more without checking... It makes me feel productive.

    ;)
