It was likely more than this.... this was just the excuse they needed. People don't fire people they actually want working with them over crap like this.

 

Then the superintendent should have mentioned these supposed other incidents in the termination letter, but, alas, the choosing and reading of the book were the reasons stated for his firing.

 

But then that would go against the obvious notion that this is idiotic conservatism gone even more idiotic.
