lol dont you take it out of context now... i wasnt giving him a compliment i was explaining why the defense cant be reason for him being benched and not playing full games...

btw i agree alpi has a crazy potential on defense and would like for him to be on a team where defense is coached and appreciated lot more...also i would like for him to be coached by a vet like draymond...

@Clutch mentioned the other day that jalen is the only untouchable on rockets, if so perhaps he gets traded for kuminga or moody so he find himself in that great environment and under drays tutelage...that would be an ideal environment for his further development and career

Check out his foul rate chief. Sengun has been improving just like our other young studs thats why he been getting more time.

i just rewatched sengun tape and didnt find not a single one
    superfluous fake
lol it is kinda annying watching so many fakes in such a short time span but they prolly allow alpi to get more relaxed and do his thing...i see he is very methodical in his game and likes to prepare all his shots meticulously ....

btw the thing with fakes is if you're used to them, besides all other benefits, they allow you to get in your flow zone and even aim better....so from outside they may look like superfluous and on the inside you are concentrating better...

it may be subjective but i have found in my own experience that every time i fake a shot its more probable that i will nail the real shot.... it kinda serves me as an aiming mechanism in my head, it also allows me to place my fingers on the stripes/incisions on the ball thus making the shot easier/more precise...

You guys gotta listen to me, Sengun is a star. He's no Vucevic. He's a smaller, quicker Jokic but obviously in terms of passing Jokic is the highest bar to clear of all time. I think Sengun can be an elite passer, similar to or better than Draymond. That does wonders for ball movement and space in the offense. Adding a better 3pt shot would make him deadly and all indications are that he can develop a 3pt shot.

Green and Sengun are a legit core. The other two first round picks are going to be legit rotation players, believe it. If we nail our pick this summer and sign a great FA the following summer, we may have a budding dynasty on our hands.

Great game from Sengun. Love how he got after the offensive rebounds. Couple blocks. Couple steals. Feasting in the post. Just need another midrange bully monster to fill in the gaps that Sengun doesnt operate in (cough cough BANCHERO cough cough) and we're off to the races. LOVE the chemistry between Alpi and Jalen. Man this team is going to be good sooner rather than later. 2025 we push for it all.

I honestly tilman isn't cheap enough to not keep sengun here for the rest of his career.

I am very impressed with senguns game and chemistry with green

Last night's game is what I expect Sengun to produce on a nightly basis next season...that is if Silas actually remembers to start him.

What's more annoying is that if he actually had consistent minutes he would have had the conditioning to play even better this game.

And the guards were not forcefeeding or even regular feeding him or the team's style is playing to his strengths. With more post ups he would get more points, more assists and better percentage.

They also do not use him any more in plays where he gets the ball around the foul line and either tries a layup/postup or pass to the cutting man, or find a wing behind a screen. He used to make turnovers in those plays because his handles are not good enough. It would have been better to work on his handles and try these plays rather than quitting it.

I think Parsons was a superstar in his head and did not really improve his game. The injury also hurt him

He needs a little bit of adjustment but not much really. He is so good with the fake, he almost gets his man up every time. That's one part of the game that is really slow for him, it is as if he is in the matrix and can act in slow motion. He gets his man falling for the fake, even with the 3 pointer where he is not a threat at all. He is special in that department, the double fake basket where he fakes the second man behind him for a plus-1 was a thing of beauty.

But I agree that he should add going up strong to his arsenal and use it a little bit more often.
