He didn't understand NATO defense. It seems neither do you. Very little is given to NATO for defense. The goal is for NATO countries to spend 2% of their GDP on their OWN defense. The U.S. spending on defense would not change one iota if we weren't part of NATO.
It seems you don't. He didn't have his hand out asking for cash, he was saying if you want to be part of an alliance, you need to be able to bring something to the table. You are not spending for your own defense what you agreed AND you are handing over billions to the actor we made this alliance for.
Here is proof he does not understand NATO defense funding. He has said it repeatedly. He says countries owe us money for what we give to NATO. We are not giving that money to NATO we are spending on our defense. We would not spend one dime less on defense if we weren't part of NATO. "Yes, because it’s costing us too much money. And frankly they have to put up more money. They’re going to have to put some up also. We’re playing disproportionately. It’s too much. And frankly it’s a different world than it was when we originally conceived of the idea. And everybody got together."
Also 2% is a guideline. Not a mandate. Here he is again not knowing how this works. "Many countries (in NATO) owe us a tremendous amount of money for many years back, where they’re delinquent, as far as I’m concerned, because the United States has had to pay for them."

A majority of Dems aren't masculine soooo there's that. Most traditional men are conservative and they tend to be the ones wanting to protect and fight. They have, essentially, the more classic natural male instincts. All the girly ones or the ones into dressing like foxes turn out to be Dems. I am willing to bet the Dems polled also lied more to save face and the number is below 50%.
plus, the republicans have all the guns, ammo and stuff and love Murica. dems are just North Atlantic global elites who fly around in planes, avoiding conflict, attending all the top elite universities, learning about critical race theory while wearing masks and engaging in pedophelia.
That also contributes to it. Not saying it's wrong to be a woman or unable to fight (furries especially though respect if I see one rocking an AK one day on the front lines).
