We are already seeing other nations now dipping their toe in the water to see what they can and cannot make claims to...

We have Japan making reference to some islands under Russian control as being of Japanese origins.

I believe Turkey made some comments as well recently about ports of origin being Turkish.

This could end up potentially being a big problem.

I know a lot of people are painting this as Russia versus the world but that isn't the case.

China has used its media to legitimize the Russian claims (there are Chinese and Trumpers on this site siting the 1940 German liberation of the Ukraine as an example) to prep their people if necessary and there are other parts of the world such as Africa and India that also support Russia.... and that doesn't get into Syrian and pockets in the Middle East.

If a war breaks out between NATO and Russia, the rest of the world will be involved in one way or another.
