Is it even wise for Lindsey to say something like that in public?

Putin could easily send someone to take him out instead.

Probably goes deeper than Lindsey gargling a boy’s nut sack.

Before this tweet, his adventure seems it will continue with the invasion of other neighboring countries and gaining access to the former Berlin Wall.

    after this tweet
, he will invade Mexico too

I am skeptical that Russia order a strike on the plant and I am also a bit skeptical that the plant reactors were even shelled. Something may have hit the perimeter and it gets reported as hitting the plant. We don't know where the fire is exactly - one report is its a training facility and another is it hit the reactor (which doesn't make sense that the reactor would be burning). There's a fog of war there and we don't know the facts which is why I just follow the feed for the IAEA.

Russia causing a nuclear accident with the winds blowing it right into its own country? Doesn't make sense.

It's what is commonly known as a "win/win situation".

For one it's illegal as the US has a ban on political assassinations. There are ways around it (act of congress, new executive order, UN resolution, etc) - but just doing that would likely put us closer to a nuclear war alone.

Grahams comments are reckless and dangerous. The last thing we need is for Russia to retaliate by assassinating US politicians.

He didn't ask the US to assassinate him. He asked Russians to do it for their own country's sake. It's exactly what everyone here is hoping a general or advisor does.

It may have been ill-advised for a Senator to say it, but he's not wrong.

I guess it depends on what you mean by wrong. I doubt the Russian people are going to pay much heed or attention to anything Lindsey Graham says, but I am sure the GRU is well aware of it.

I’d be down with a Putin assassination.

I think it would make the world safer.

The days of the autocrat in Europe are almost over. I think Lukashenko and Putin are it. The young generations are replacing the older ones and they have had so much exposure to the West and all it entails.

They don’t want autocracy anymore. I don’t see another Putin taking hold.

In fact, I think Putin lashing out now is entirely to do with him seeing the writing on the wall with regards to his regime. He can take a look around the globe and how it’s ended for people like him, he can read the pulse of things and know Russia is changing, even if slowly.

Dangerous as hell and stupid BUT perhaps some people should be standing up and calling for what is needed. If he is smart enough to be where he is, he knows the risk.
