I prefer actions over press conferences and sound bites. If they wanted to compete and retool then they would have taken a different route. The Rockets weren’t trying to “tank” last season because keeping our pick was essentially a coin flip. And we ended up getting lucky with keeping our pick. They were setting the table for a multi season rebuild.
Lmao please tell me you are not serious. Lebron is on another planet from Harden when it comes to knowing how to win and seeing the game. Lebron was actively trying to trade Westbrook, a lot better than Harden bringing Westbrook here and then bolting and leaving us with him. . He still sees the game differently on the court than Harden as we have seen in the playoffs. If you really think Harden is the same as Lebron I have no words lol.
Well...I didnt say any of that. But your reasoning for saying because Harden wanted Westbrook on the team and using that to say that's why Lebron sees the game differently is pretty ridiculous. Considering that Lebron asked for Westbrook to be on his team. Just because he wanted to trade him mid season doesnt mean anything. LOL Harden and Westbrook are friends, he couldnt asked the dude to be traded even if he wanted to. So that's another not good reason. Yea Lebron's better but he's a pretty bad gm from what we've seen.
That's not him being a good GM, that's literally any person with half a brain would try to trade for AD.
Harden played for Houston longer than Lebron did before he left for Miami. He’s paid his dues here and ownership turned to trash during the time. Lebron is great but he ring-chased and he’s still ring chasing.
I don't understand your comment at all. I had to bold, underline and italicise this part of the post because... I mean what the hell it's so absurd. LeBron actively trying to trade Westbrook.............. AFTER MAKING SURE THE LAKERS BROUGHT HIM IN TO PLAY WITH HIM. Or.... or do you think LeBron had nothing to do with that? I'm so confused right now.
His defacto agency got in AD’s ear and got him to restrict the market to LA. It’s about as close to a player being a GM as one can get, aside from say collaborating with other players to become FA’s at the same time to all play together. Oh…I guess add 2 more “GM” rings.
LOL what? Dude, a lot of players probably try to recruit AD. Him having a whole agency behind him doesnt make a good gm. Lmao if you are suggesting Lebron joining up with D Wade and Boch is some sort of big brain GM move then we can stop here.
One player got AD to sign with “his” agency and limit the market to LA. That happened. Give him his credit. LeBron and friends decided to take their fate in their own hands, become FA’s at the same time and choose where they wanted to play. Yes, please stop if you can’t give him credit for these clear as day, everyone is aware of these examples of him playing defacto GM. If you can knock him when his meddling goes wrong (Westbrook) then give him props when it resulted in a title.
For one that's literally not only credited to Lebron. He's not the only piece involved here. LA was like one the only teams with enough assets to give. ...........That's not a gm move lol. Lmao, clear as day. Im not giving him credit for doing (1+1) moves any pea brain would do and colluding with other players in FA, those are not GM moves. He didnt get anyone to play with him in Cleveland for a long time. He only got AD(just AD) to come to LA, once the Lakers had assets and AD was apart of clutch. He then got Westbrook despite him being the reason they beat the Rockets in the bubble. Yea....Lebron is a great gm haha.
Dang I don't remember writing this & claim temporary insanity Also I'm Australian & wanted 2 Aussies on the Rockets. I apologize.
1. LA wasn’t the only team with assets to give. Klutch and AD restricted the market. 2. Name the instance of players doing what LeBron and friends did pre Miami….
