My fondest memory of Cat was the first game I saw him play in. It in the early part of his rookie season at Golden State in Oakland. He lit the Warriors up, and I kept wondering "Who is this guy?" Great performance.
Like most of you here, there were times that I just couldn't stand Cuttino Mobley and his iso plays. But I really came to admire his game this past season. He has always played hard, but this season, he also played smart. I never thought I'd say it, but I will definitely miss him. Two years ago, I would have loved to see Francis and Mobley be traded for Tmac. But now, I don't want to see our backcourt broken up for anyone.
I'm much more sentimental over losing the Franchise than losing Cat...but I guess I'll miss his heat-check jump shots. Now that I think about it. His shot selection is not that different from my post selection - a good Rockets run (BBS thread) is going well then out of the blue Cat shoots a heat-checker (like when I post) and progress is killed immediately. The Rocket's run (or BBS thread) dies a cold, hard, brutal death. I'll miss his fire, his first step, his dressing tips. Good Luck, Cat. You may have been a second rounder, but you are first rate in my book!
If Cuttino and Francis are traded I will miss both of them very much despite their shortcomings. These guys have always played hard for us and have been loyal to the Rockets organization. I hate to see them go but if our team improves then we must do it. Cato also deserves praise for his hard work over the last year. I will always cheer for them even if they play against us.
