The Trumbo that movie is about, fwiw, wrote an amazing book called Johnny Got His Gun, that I would highly recommend to anyone. Particularly right now... Not an Aerosmith song, lest anyone be confused lol No idea if the movie is any good... Cranston though!
Hope we see at least 5-6 end of season games with rotation minutes for him. But he has to get healthy, then get into G league shape, then try to get minutes. Not sure there's time for all that, but I'm optimistic.
At this point he needs to focus on having a great summer program and coming back much improved next season.
I think since it was his non-shooting hand he fractured, he should have started working on his shooting a week later and needs to keep doing it till next season. I see a bit more touch than Draymond in his shot, so I think he has a good chance of being able to improve.
Any updates on this guy? Injuries in your development years really suck. Man, what happened to the optimism when we picked this guy in the draft? Everyone was so hyped up we thought we got a steal, we got the best defensive player other than Mobley

Fracturing his non shooting wrist makes it so that shooting and cardio are some of the only basketball activities he can participate in. If he understands that there is no way around developing a reliable 3pt shot, he’s going to be ready for next season. Would be nice to get him 3-4 nba games with rotation minutes to get a feel for the speed of the game before heading into summer workouts. He seems to be a very self motivated player and he’s paid a big chunk of his own buyout. I think he’ll spend the rest of this season and the summer working on his shot and he is going to show up with a passable 3pt shot + easily a plus defender. Will break out as a rotation player early next season. Perfect partner for Sengun and Chet/Jabari.

A lot of the time first rounders just don’t work out. I’m expecting him to be a throw in for some random trade somewhere down the line. Hope I’m wrong, I just don’t really expect much from the guy other than that.
